New Training Plan

Well Monday I was excited to really start running again after about a month off of doing nothing. I think the break was much needed, but I was ready to start again seeing as I have a hopefully packed second half of the year.

I was planning on going out for an easy 3 miles to see what I could do. After mile 1 I was feeling great. This was until I managed to trip over a ginormous partially eaten apple and I went tumbling to the ground. So my run abruptly ended at 1.11 miles with pretty decent wounds on my right hand and knee, and some pain in my left ankle.

By the end of the night, my ankle was the size of a softball. Yay! What a fantastic start to my summer and to my training. Right now I'm doing everything I can to stay off of it and just rest. It's not very fun, but I'd rather do that than hurt myself further.

I'll save you from the grusome pictures of my injuries. Hopefully I'll have some more training updates and life updates soon.
